The role of the Research and Liaison officer fell vacant at the AGM, owing to there being no candidates willing to stand for election. As a result, the Executive Council have appointed Malcolm Boura to the post.
Malcolm is a founder member of the NUFF website team and has been team leader for some time,it was formed when the internet

He was also a member of the Rec54 study group which was formed to combat the “exposure” clause of the Sexual Offences Bill. It had about 20 members chosen for their skills and representative of all aspects of naturism. “Through the NUFF web site we were able to respond to each new government document or letter within a couple of days ensuring that people could write the most effective letters at the optimum time.


To support our case we developed the NOP poll which we later handed over to BN. We produced a comprehensive report which was submitted to the Home Office and it provided the basis for the Resource Book which is available on the NUFF website”.



Malcolm also founded the Mildenhall Naturist Swimming Club about 5 years ago and is the British Naturism Eastern Region Public Relations Officer. He is married with two grown up sons, working most of his life as a secondary school teacher but moving into engineering in recent years.



Malcolm says. “I do not exaggerate when I state that naturism is facing some very serious threats. For example the Local Government White Paper could mean the end of beach naturism. There are enormous challenges ahead and I will be doing all that I can to ensure that BN responds effectively.”
