One of the newest BN membership benefits, Special Interest Groups, is becoming very popular with our members. We've outlined many of the common questions regarding SIGS below, and in particular how you as a member of British Naturism, can benefit from this excellent feature!
What is a Special Interest Group?
A Special Interest Group (or "SIG") is a way for members of BN to find other members who share their non-naturist interests. We all have passions in life and like to find people who share them, and if those people are naturists, too, then what could be better! Behind the idea of the groups is communication and information-sharing, and perhaps get-togethers. Certain groups could also help BN by providing expertise (such as the Spa SIG), items for the magazine and website (Photography SIG, Writers SIG) or research and support (Beach Users SIG). You can join as many SIGs as you like, and we hope that it will add to the value that you get from BN membership.
How do I join a SIG?
Firstly you need to be a member of British Naturism, if you are not already click here to find out how; you can then either write to CCBN head office with a request to join the group(s) you are interested in. You will of course need to quote your BN membership number on the request. You can also join a SIG by emailing sigs@british-naturism.org.uk. You can also join through the membership community.
Can I get more information about a SIG before I join?
Many people write to us asking for more information, but as the groups are relatively new and many have not started properly yet, we can't tell you any more than is printed in the list here. In any case, there's no cost to join and personal details of the members of each group are not circulated, even to the leader of the group, so it's best simply to join up and receive the communications from the SIG when they come round. You can always ask us to take your name off a list if you wish, later on.
If you are already a member of British Naturism be sure to register to get further details of joining our SIGS.
