Summer Events, 2010

The summer is planned, and what an exciting year it is going to be for YBN again! If you are aged between 18-30, please feel free to come along and meet the crowd.

4th - 6th June: Telford
Telford is the best-attended event of the year, linking in with the swim at Stoke Waterworld. The swim is on the Saturday night, so a group of us will go there, then come back to the club in the evening to party the night away.

18th - 20th June: Nottingham
The first of the volleyball tournaments! If you are not a volleyball player, come along anyway. Support us, go in the big indoor heated pool, or relax in the hot tub. The evening disco is great, with the dance floor packed for the whole night. Come along and dance the night away at Nottingham.

2nd - 4th July: Invicta
Invicta is in Dover, Kent, and is a fairly small club, but with lots of character. The social committee are already working on what entertainment they are going to put on for us to make it a great weekend.

30th July - 1st August: Heritage
This will be YBN’s’ first visit to Heritage, and I know they are keen to make it a weekend to remember...for all the right reasons! Let’sshow Heritage how YBN like to party, and give them good reason to want us back!

13th-15th August: Haslemere
Back to Haslemere! This club always warmly welcomes YBN, and I am sure 2010 will be the same. Haslemere, although small, always manages to put on great evening entertainment.

3rd - 5th September: North Kent
The last event of the summer...let’s go out with a bang! There is a weekend-long volleyball tournament with teams of all abilities. We have an A and B team at the moment – can we stretch to a C team for 2010, too? This event is now open to international teams, too, so with any luck there will be a good number of people there to make friends with and help to make the whole weekend a great end to the summer.
